Ok i will be building a nutless 300 wm.My question is ,is it worth having my action timed and trued?I have a 30 cal. krieger light varmit #18 contour barrel.
My gun is a savage 112 300 winn mag.bvss. I will keep the Laminate stock and have it Rebedded when i get the action done and barrel installed.I want to build the best and most accurte gun i can build .Thanks Jamie

Re: Savage true and time.

Normally I would say no, but since you want to absolute best in rifle accuracy then definitely. A Savage may not gain much from having the T&T done but it is a nice accuracy variable to have removed. Check center shot rifles for the Job. He does the entire thing minus re-cutting receiver threads for 90 bucks and I think 175 with the threads cut. I had one of my Savages trued and it is my most accurate rifle by far. Kevin Rayhill of Stockade rifle stocks also does excellent savage work.
