SB 520 diopter ring - removable?

Trying to fit a tacticam on SB520 - enlarged diopter ring thing makes a joke. I see that it looks like it can be unscrewed but wondering if there's more to it or just as easy as turning it? Is there some glue or thread locker to make it so u can't unscrew it idk - I just don't wanna irreversibly mess up my newest scope.

Yes it is.

It’s glued in place but Jerry will get you taken care of. Did it to one of my 520US
