I recently just got one of these scopes and am deciding which one of these mounts I want. The 135 designed for clearance of the laser. However I have been reading that some people prefer it to the 104 because it throws up better and is faster. On my rifle I would be using it for mostly close to mid range stuff.

My question is, which one would you guys get? Or if you have ran both, which do you prefer?

Thx

Re: SB Short Dot - LT135 OR LT104??

I have an LT-104 mount with a Leupold 3.5-10 LRM3 on it as well as having Larue mounts for all my Aimpoints. They are good mounts but for a precision rifle the return to zero is close but not good enough for a precision rifle. Also, I've had a few instances for removing and remounting has caused the Larue quick release to loosen necessitating readjustment with a wrench and rezeroing. If I were going to get a QR mount today for this use, I'd get a Bobro or GDI mount, or maybe an ADM mount. Users on this forum have reported excellent return to zero characteristics.

If I could afford a Short Dot I'd probably put it in a GDI P-ROM mount

Lowlight said the return to zero is great. Comes back to just about absolute zero.

Hell if I could afford the GDI's I'd have it for my Tac30 and HDMR
