Precision Rifle Gear Scabbard and EXO 4800

Has anyone every mounted a scabbard to an Exo 4800? Currently the rifle carry system they got leaves the rifle really exposed and its kinda taking a beating. Anyone know a way to mount a scabbard to it?

I have a gunslinger 2 and love it for the upside down rifle carry but its just a tad too small and Exo rides better, but i'm really looking for a rifle carry solution.

The kifaru gunslinger is really nice if you want access to the rifle.

If you just want to strap it to the pack, why not put it between the bag and the frame?

The gun bearer will have same issue as the exo system, and I didn't really think it would fit and accessing the rifle would be a huge pain but I can give it a shot

Here's the gunslinger set up 2 different ways. One it's riding lower/looser for easier access and the other is high and tight.

Getting to the rifle is easy, grab the forend with your support hand and yank the strap with your firing hand. Lift rifle to shoulder.

You can get a universal fit Kifaru gun bearer that will fit any pack, including the EXO. I have one on my EXO and accessing the rifle couldn't be easier. Gun bearer has almost nothing in common with the EXO system, it's better in every way.
