Scar 17s/SR-25 chamber gauges/Ammo

I have a Scar 17s, which I bought before the madness, and a Knights Mk 11 carbine. I have never fired either. Can anyone tell me what chamber gauges I should use - 308 or 7.52? I can now only find 308 Win 150 gr hunting rounds. Can anyone tell me what performance I can expect from both rifles with this 308 ammo.
