For those shooting the Scar 20s have you found a technique that works well that you don't mind sharing? I've found myself way more inconsistent with the 20s compared to even my large frame AR's. It's seems to be extremely sensitive to user input. Typically shooting it with a rear bag and Accutac bipod. I don't think it's the gun, I get enough good groups some days, and other days I get good groups mixed with bad groups, that I suspect it's just how I'm driving it. I've also done all the usual troubleshooting, swapping mount/optics, checking barrel bolts, ammo etc. and there was no real change again making me think it's likely just me.
One thing I've noticed is that normally I use a good amount of rearward pressure on the grip on my bolt action and AR's but that doesn't seem to work with the 20s, I suspect it's all the play in the hinged plastic lower that does not have rear pin. I get huge elevation variations depending on the amount of pressure rearward on the grip when applied. I never notice that to any significant amount on my AR's with the same technique. The 20s seems to do better with less pressure applied everywhere but that isn't great for recoil management and it tends to make me a bit tentative on the gun.
Just thought others might have ideas/tips/tricks they've found.
