I have read a couple threads talking about surefire quick detach suppressors. What is QD and how is it different than...non QD? Until i turn 21, im just saving to get my 700 threaded and looking at my options for suppressors. How effective would a 7.62 suppressor be on a standard AR?

About 2 seconds on or off (though you have to let it cool first, before removing it after shooting).
