Rifle Scopes Scope advice

I'm looking for a good scope for around the $2000 mark. It will be going on an FN spr A5. I'll be shooting out to a thousand yards, mostly just target practice, maybe competition in the future. I'm leaning towards the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 with the MOAR reticle. Does anyone have any advise on a better option? I haven't had the opportunity to handle many different brands of scopes. Thanks.

I'd take a look at the Bushnell Elite Tactical lineup, really like my Bushnell XRS.

I'll have to see if my local shop has any of those in stock.. I've also been seeing a lot of good things on here about the Vortex Razor HD, but haven't had the chance to see one. Any experience with that scope?
