OK I need a scope base for a Savage that is long enough to mount both a regular scope and then mount a night vision tube in front of it. Anyone know where or who to talk to about getting one??

You may need to contact one of the custom machining businesses to have this custom made. There are a few listed around here somewhere that will make you whatever you want, but I don't think your going to find a "off the shelf" pic rail for a savage that's long enough for what your trying to do. I've never seen one. The damn thing would have to be 23"-30" long depending on the total length of your daytime optic.
