Ok guys my SRS returned from DTA as the first conversion they did to turn a SRS into a Convert. Love the size of this little jewel. Now, I have a SN3 sitting in the safe and a IOR 2.5-10 NIB not being used. SN# seems like a Hubble on it and the IOR I wish it had more magnification with my old eyes. So what else exists that has lower weight of the IOR but more power than 10X? I know the 2-12 IOR and looking at that as an option but just wanted some input. I am trying to decide if I should just mount up that IOR and suck it up with only 10X to keep the weight down.

Re: Scope for a DTA Covert, Which One?

I would say the new March FFP 3-24x would be the ticket. Small, compact, and alpha glass. If that is too big, then the 1-10x March. Both are probably the two smallest alpha scopes out there.

Depends on the distances you plan to shoot at, and on how much you like to be able to observe bullet holes and similar small things through the rifle scope rather than switching to a spotting scope. I agree that there's not that much of a difference between 15x and 20x - though every little bit helps.
