Im searching for a new scope for my hunting rifle. GOing to be sitting on an AR15 Deer hunting inside 300 yards. My first thought was a SS 3x9 I know its had rave reviews. Anyone have any direct experience with the Nikon IRT or Burris eliminator. The idea of a laser ranging scope sure seems ideal for this type of shooting and then thats one less thing for me to carry.

While it is one less thing to carry, you may want to give consideration to the impact of the laser going bad and having to remove the scope and then send off to repair...guess you can still use BUIS while you wait...
