Hello

Looking for a scope for my spr I just finished. I have it narrowed down between, Leupold 3-9x40 vx-r patrol,SS 3-9x42 tactical, or Viper vortex pst 2.5-10x44. my max distance for the rifle will be 500 to 600 yards.
The rifle is a BCM SS410 spr barrel,BCM m4 receiver,Rock River lower with a Geisele SSA-e trigger.
Thanks Scott

Re: scope for spr

Do you absolutely need FFP and Ill Ret? The reason I'm asking is I like my SPR to be light and handy. Some of these scopes adds quite bit of weight to the rifle.

Also, for what your setup/purpose a 1inch tube is plenty enough as long as it's a good glass/scope.

I went with the Weaver Grand Slam from Midway USA for $300 it's a Awesome Glass and Very Light. Mil/Mil Adjustments and SFP.

Matched with Nikon XR One Piece Base with Built in 20moa cant. Which is Perfect for what I want with my rifle.

My Setup is:
CMMG Upper
Walther Lother 20inch Match Barrel .223 Wylde Chambering With Matching BCG.
Larue Tactical 13.2 Free Float Rail
Shoots 1 moa or less with just about any quality .223/.556 ammo.

Re: scope for spr

My SPR(ish) AR wears a Weaver GS Tactical 3-10x40 from Midway.

Works great for my purposes and using 75/77gr bullets has enough adjustment to get me to 650yd (as far as I have to shoot).
