Rifle Scopes Scope height new Lapua

What do you think? I’m right at .5 inch above the barrel? These are vortex 1.26 rings. I think I should be lower; any opinions? I have been told .5 inch is fine to avoid heat mirage from the barrel.

It cant hurt to go lower. Better cheek weld on the stock and less deflection over bore.

What stock is it going in? Does is have an adjustable cheek?

Good choice Sir.

You will be fine. The 4 way adjustable cheek on the T2A will allow you to adjust until you feel super comfortable.
