Scope height question

I am relatively new to long distance shooting. I have a Accuracy International AT with a Nightforce ATACR 5x25 optic mounted on the AI 20 MOA rail. My scope mount is a Masterpiece Arms BA mount. I lost the receipt for the MPA mount, but I think the height is 1.25" from the rail. The issue is I have a very large head and I am having a hard time getting proper check weld. In fact, I am having to really lower my head about an inch lower then is comfortable. The AI adjustable stock is set at its lowest setting. So I cannot adjust the stock to make it lower. What are my options other then getting a new scope mount? I really like my MPA mount. Are there rail adaptors I could use? If so, any cons to getting one of those? I assume its just one more thing to make sure is mounted correctly etc. I think I need at least another half inch of height on the mount. If anyone out there can assist me that would be awesome. I only shoot out to 600 yards at this point due to range constrictions. Please help advise me if you have the time. Thank you in advance. AB

get a new mount....there is no other way to increase drop at comb (lower the comb relative to the scope eye pupil) on this chassis that I can see. Much easier to reduce drop by padding up a cheek piece.

Get a new mount, sell the old one is all I can think to do.

You could try and get a riser like the Badger Ordnance but it has MOA built in and you might have issues if your scope has limited internal elevation. The NF shouldn't have that issue.

Honestly I would sell the mount and get a new one in the AR height if the 1.26" is too low. Maybe a 1.5" would work better.

.5”. Perfect. PM me

Thanks. Kinda what I was thinking. But I wasn’t sure. Would you guys recommend 1.5” height rings or a mount at the 1.5”. Appreciate all the help.
Both will hold the scope securely and at the same height so 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other.
