Have a CQBSS to mount on an sr-25 ECC.
Should I go with a 0moa mount or a 20 Moa mount?
I will probably be shooting it within 700 yards.
I had thought about using a KAC mount but it's 20
moa and I had read somewhere that it was better to have 0moa for that particular optic when at low
magnification.
Thanks

I'd opt for 20 MOA cant. It's a toss up between the Spuhr or the KAC, both are top tier mounts. Pick the one you like the looks of or the one you can get the best deal on, or roll some dice if you can't decide.

I have a few CQBSS optics and prefer the Geissele CQBSS mount. It gives you the proper eye relief space and then some. Seeing it was designed for the CQBSS it really shows. I also have the KAC 19moa mount and the optic is moved farther forward towards the front rings. The Geissele mount has a better fit and finish then the KAC. Both good mounts though. I prefer not to use 20 moa mounts on LPVs and typically I hold instead of dial. Same with the Mk6 1-6 optics. I always hold on these as the CMR-W 7.62 and also H27D have good reticles for this. Dialing the extra 6 mils, and maybe another 3-4 to get it to your zero pending your rifle setup, can come close to maxing out and you lose optical clarity until you dial to come up. Very few cases but I've seen it happen.

Can't comment on the Spuhr as I dont own one for my SR25s with CQBSS optics. No need to venture away from the Geissele IMO as it does everything you want or need for a 308 gas gun. Specifically talking about the CQBSS mount. The standard Geissele AR10 mount does not have the same dimensions as the CQBSS.

Here is one of my SR25s with a CQBSS on it in a Geissele Mount. As you can see, it has plenty of room for adjustment. And Below that is a Steiner Military in a KAC mount. You can tell the difference right away, even though they are different optics. I took my CQBSS optics out of the KAC mounts.
