Wondering what scope base (20 moa) people would recommend for a rem 700 300 WM build I'm working on. The only one I've ever used are Weaver and seem to work just fine.

I think that the Badger 20MOA and 30MOA LA steel rails weigh around 5.5oz or so and the Seekins alloy will be roughly half that (3oz or less). You might check with Glen or someone at Seekins to confirm the exact weight.
Again...not much in and of itself, but ounces quickly turn into pounds and if you are cutting weight...every little bit helps. Add in a set of quality alloy rings and you can save a half-pound versus a comparable set of steel rings/bases. Not a concern on a heavy bench or range rifle, but if you are building a humping it up and down a mountainside at 10,000ft or so, it may be something to consider?!
