Well you can get all kinds of good saddles for your mount, like English or Western. Oh, wait, you want a mount for your rifle, not a saddle for your mount.
Well like saddles for your mount, we would need to know what kind of horse (rifle) your riding, and what you want to do with it (like what you want to do with it, besides just shoot it).
And what kind of scope your planning on mounting there pilgrim, (in my best Duke Wayne impersonation), would be immensity helpful as well. So keep those doggies rollin......

Elaborate a bit on the rifle in question. You are likely to get a multitude of opinions. In my opinion, Richard Near makes the best mounts, rings and bases you can buy, but many other mfrs make great mounts too.
