I’ve done a lot of research on this forum and Google. There seems to be quite a bit of variation on scope mounting with a unimount (non-QD) on an AR rifle. Does anybody have a pretty universal set up guide or sticky thread on best practice to go about mounting. I’ve seen in general that you want a perfectly vertical level rifle and the pic rail perpendicular to that and the the scope matching the same level by either a level resting on top of the scope and/or using a plumb bob/flashlight to align reticle and tighten? Any input? Thanks!
