Scope ring height question with Tikka T3x Tac A1 and Nightforce ATACR

Hi guys,

I am new to long distance rifle shooting and have ordered myself a Tikka T3x Tac A1 and a Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56.
Both are still on their way and I am currently looking into the scope rings.

Yes, there is a good thread out there how to measure everything, but as I can not measure anything without the hardware here, I wanted to see if anyone has a similar setup and is able to provide advice.

I obviously do know that the objective has an outer diameter of 65 mm or 2.55".

Which rings would I require if I also want to use some flip up lens caps:

A216 - 1.5" XX-High 34mm 6 Screw
A214 - 1.375" X-High 34mm 6 Screw
A210 - 1.125" High 34mm 6 Screw

Maybe someone has some other good rings in mind and would like to explain why.

I have the same rifle and went with the Vortex rings at 1.45 high. My scope also has a 56mm objective and I have the Vortex defender end caps on too. There is just enough clearance as I wouldn't want to be any lower.
