Are the designated scope ring heights, Low, medium, High, etc., going to be same measurments for all rings, or are they going to vary with different manufacturers? I've been reading up on how to measure the height and all of the sources do not agree on how to measure height. Some say bottom of the ring to bottom of the cradle, others say bottom of the ring to center of the optic. Very confusing.

With there being so many different companies making mounts, the safest bet is to go with a quality brand and view their spec sheet. Personally I don’t go off of high/low/medium/ultra high designations when looking for rings, rather I just pull up the spec sheet after finding the height I need.
