Fixing to step up and buy me a new scope and put on my LR. I'm going to need a set of 30mm rings. I've seen many brands, which do ya'll recommend? I'm going to a 50mm Objective Size, do I need high rings on the LR top. The forearm is free float and small I'm thinking I might get away with medium? Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Scope Rings

I recomend you give Richard Near at Near Manfacturing a call, his products are the best in the industry, not as big of a name as Badger but absoutly better in every way! If you cannot afford the Near rings look in to Nightforce the fit and finnish is very good also.

Re: Scope Rings

I've just ordered some Burris Extreme 30mm rings, also putting on a 50mm objective lens scope. I chose low because with only a 50mm objective, the objective is only 10mm above and below the actual scope tube. This will be going on a Remington 700 with a one piece zero cant Weaver base - between the base and the rings, there is more clearance than what I actually need.

Just my two cents
