I'm looking for my options for glass for a F/TR rifle. Shooting this class I'll be shooting at known distances and I won't be cranking elevation for different shots. Looking for something with 1/8 MOA adjustments.

I know the NF BR scopes are 1/8, and Leupy has 1/8 in some of their competition series, but all of those I've seen are fixed high power, I'm looking for something that will get up to 20 or 22 but gives the option to crank the x down if mirage is being a problem.

Price wise the NF lists for about $1200, what else is out there that fits the bill and costs less than NF?

That NF BR scope is adjustable from 8-32 or 12-42. But since you asked about more affordable, I shoot BR and I use a Nikon 8-32x50 Monarch. It's almost half the cost of the Nightforce and has all the options you need. If you need 1/8 clicks and high power with very clear glass, this is the best scope in it's price range. If you want to spend a little more, the Sightron SIII is also an awesome optic and for around $800

    I have two Bausch & Lomb/Bushnell Elite 4000/4200 scopes with 1/8" clicks.

One is their 6-24x40ao and the other is their 4-16x50ao.

Both scopes have nice glass, are well built and been on a 7 Rem Mag with nary a problem.

I've won a few F-Class matches using a Weaver fixed 24x (T-24). The magnification is as high as you need for any distance and low enough that mirage is not a problem. The only mirage that was a problem was barrel mirage....get a shield.

The Weavers have very reliable turrets and only cost $350. Sure I can afford a NF, but why... the Weaver works great.
