I don't have a torque wrench and other items needed to properly mount my new scope. I decided to have a gunsmith put it on. What should I expect to be charged?
Is he going to bed the bases or lap the rings? Are the base holes in line with the bore? Will he have to re-drill the base holes? There are a lot of little problems he could run in to, and each adds to his "shop-time" $$$$meter.
