where can I get a extra long rear guard screw for a Rem. 700 bdl.......what is the thread size?

Gun Parts Corp./Numrich Arms sells them, the last time I bought one it was about $2.00.

Brownells also sell them. They are a 1/4 x 28 screw..

your local Ace hardware store carries them or any place that has a large selection of allen head screws.
