For the past three Haloween parties I've tried to talk one of my buddies into doing that to his monsterous 110lb lab. Maybe after seeing this pic he'll be game for it.

Somebody did that to a dog over hear a few years back and then let it wonder in a town park around dusk...The news papers and the local radio stations went nuts with numerous "lion sightings" and it all got out of hand with "police sharp shooters" and troops called in to search for it..Eventually the hoaxer came forward with the "lion-dog" but claimed it was all a "mistake" as he had shaved the dog that way as part of a treatment for mange!

I think he was frighten of getting done for wasting police time!
