Re: Seekins 300 BLK

8 screws and the rail comes off if you need it to.

Re: Seekins 300 BLK

Houston Armory has the almost completed prototype of their Seekins gun. It has a little different profile barrel, a new suppressor they are working on and the first round rail with the extra top rail for optics, among some other little surprises when the gun is finally introduced. Just working out the logistics right now from what I have been told.

I have played around with a lot of ARs in my time, and this new gun will feel like nothing else out there on the market. It's surreal how smooth the action is even when it's dirty and no lube inside the gun.

Maybe I misunderstood, but doesn't midwest industries make a round handguard with rop rail? The SS series?

I apologize if I misunderstood what you were trying to say.

We are talking in terms of Seekins new round rail system...

Re: Seekins 300 BLK

I will post some better pics as soon as we wind down with all the emails and phone calls from being gone. Only about 180 more to go....

The MCSR (modular combat suppressor rail) is designed you you CAN get the QD attach suppressors off. A bullet tip will depress the latch and you can chase it around the rail. No other rail system allows this as easily, our BAR rail does, but its a bit more of a chore.

Re: Seekins 300 BLK

On what part, complete gun or the rail? Complete guns, we have lowers right now that we can SBR and get paperwork going on right now. ETA on the new round rails, Starting production on the MCSR rails in multiple lengths Wednesday. I had to make a small change so im behind about 1 week from the original date of January 31. I will have some then, but im not sure how many and of what size at the moment. SHOT was a great show for us and we are trying to compile orders and figure out our forecasting.
