Seekins havak hit weight without the barrel

Does anyone know the weight of a seekins havak hit without the barrel? Trying to see if it makes sense to put a carbon fiber barrel on it for a hunting rifle

It’s a 24” M24 contour barrel so about 5.5-6 pounds area so figure what the carbon fiber would be and the difference would be your weight savings.

That would still make it way to heavy for hunting in the mountains of Colorado. Thanks for the info

If you have the barrel pulled off or plan to, please let me know here or PM. I have a question out to Seekins about, what looks to be a thin washer/shim that is placed between the receiver and the barrel when they meet. Would like to know what it is, if it needs to be timed etc. I cleaned the receiver threads and noticed it. Seekins CS can't answer it because they don't have a picture.
