I have been interested in exploring dropping a muzzle brake on my 700 5R, and I came across this: Seekins Precision Advanced Tactical Compensator - Black - .308/7.62

I haven't been able to turn up much--especially as it relates to use on a bolt gun. I found some feedback on its use for a 5.56, and it seemed pretty positive.

I like the fact that this doesn't require a gunsmith for timing.

Anyone using these on a bolt gun? How is it working out?

I have it for my Keltec RFB. It is like an improved VIAS brake and both do an excellent job of reducing recoil. Main thing to note, the timing nut is for a .750" OD barrel since it was designed for AR type barrel contours. You can choose not to use it if your bolt barrel is thicker but you will need a smith to time it.
