1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
6 in the front 4 to the rear, but really the 4 screw model is all you need, Glenn makes dam fine rings and they are more affordable compared to other brands.
Mi Nightforce rings with 4 screws on my .50 didn't ever move. I just bought a set of Seekins 4 screw rings for my TRG and after seeing them I would have no fear of the scope moving in these on any rifle. Good stuff, quality machining and finish to!
They wont move on anything, so no worries. The 6 screw does give you more surface area to hold onto the scope, but the 4 screw rings give more than you need already. Mainly people like them for the looks.
Main deliverance that does matter..
1) 6 screw width is .2" wider
2) has 2 more screws in the ring cap
3) cost a little bit more
When I got my Seekins rings for my .308 it was the 6/4. I had no idea they came 6/4 or 4/4. I thought they messed up my order haha But I researched a little more about it cured me of my worries.
