Need to outfit another lathe and mill with DRO...
I've got a couple machines using Bluetooth DRO that I've assembled, but now that prices with glass scale systems have gotten much cheaper Im going that route on these as there's not much cost difference anymore.

I see a couple options in the $500 range, Easson and the ones sold by Precision Mathews. Any feedback on these, or other options appreciated, thanks.

The rinky-dink 32x9.5 ChiCom mill I bought second-hand came with a "Sterling" 2-axis DRO using SINO KA300 5µ (.0002") linear encoders. Seems to do everything I've required of it. I think the same 2-axis DRO kit can be found from a variety of online vendors for around $450 shipped or so. I'd prefer an Acu-rite but that's overkill (and 3x the cost) for my hobbyist needs in my garage.
