Is there a rule of thumb for how thick the recoil lug should be for a certain caliber? Two I'm interested in are .223 & .308. Is .250" good for both or what?

I went ahead and got .250" parallel lugs for both the 308 and 223.. according to KRG a .250" lug will work in the Bravo.. and since it's parallel like the standard Remington is, it should work..

downside is PTG is pissing me off.. ordered all the stuff for 2 rifles on Monday.. receivers from grabagun, chassis from KRG, barrel from Mcree's, go/ngo gauges from NSS, crap from midway, and Amazon.. All arrived by Friday.. Today I even got 2 expander mandrels from PMA tool that I ordered Thursday.. but the 2 lugs that I paid $15 shipping for on Monday still haven't got here from PTG.

Could have just ordered the lugs from Midway and saved yourself the hassle with dealing with PTG. If you do cancel your PTG order ( I would) stay on them about the refund because they're not going to want to give it to you.

The tapered PTG lugs don't fit either. I ran into that problem when the Bravo first came out. I know some don't want to spend the extra money but the Whiskey 3 backbone is the way to go. Saves the headache down the road if anything is to change.

Funny that Midway's PTG lugs are more than twice the price of getting them from PTG.. Guess they know people don't want to deal with PTG.

I did already get a Bravo.. and a whisky-3 is coming Tuesday. I got a tapered lug with the McRee's barrel, so that should fit the W-3. Went with PTG to save money as their lugs are $20, and lug alignment tool is $26. Didn't know PTG was SO bad.. See if the lugs show p by Tues and take it from there. My .223 barrel won't be here for another 8-10 weeks.
