A pen-sized flamethrower for women to blast against sexual attackers went on sale in China, with vendors in Guangzhou displaying the miniature gadget, Monday.
The flamethrower is only 20 centimetres (8 inches) long but can spout flames for up to 25 centimetres (10 inches).
SOT, Lin, employee (Mandarin): "We are opening an online store to develop retail business in 2018, and carrying out marketing activities to raise awareness."
SOT, Lin, employee (Mandarin): “We hope all the women can defend themselves effectively and legally. Once a woman become aware of the sexual attackers, she can use to flamethrower to alarm him and keep herself safe.”
