Noticed we have lots of riders around here. Show us what you ride. I'll start with the rescue Bandit I picked up last year. It needed fork seals, tires, and lots of detailing. Came with factory hard cases and 10k on the odometer. Pic was taken just after unloading.

Thanks - it's a 2006 with full Ohlins and Zards exhaust - lots of time and effort there.

Never owned a Super Duke - but I hear they're nuts.

That’s a good way to explain it. I’ve always used “brutal”

I’ve owned a few jap bikes and riden most of the others including Ducati’s and triumphs and there’s just something about the 990SDr that I can’t bring myself to sell it. Mine sits right about 390lbs wet and dyno’d at 100 ft lbs with 130hp.

Handles great, super nimble and torque for days. Plus zero tc and abs, it’s a true riders bike. The seat might as well be a 2x6 covered in cloth but god damn is it fun to ride. Wheelies in any gear and pulls out of corners like a raped ape.

Dude, that is badass. Kawasaki recently introduced a new 400, but it's nothing like yours.

Nope, this one came from Japan, never imported to the U.S. by Kawi. Last made in 2000. In 93 it had fully adjustable front forks. Mine is an SP model so it has the close ratio tranny, ram air, flat slides and kit electronics, it also has Kawi 600 forks on it and R6 brake calipers. Forks aren't any better but the radial brakes and the ability to buy pads makes it worth it. Forks will slide right into the stock triple too. I have custom top gullwing triple to match the 600 forks which are about 1.5 inches longer.

Love your bikes, but I went down hard on the street a few years back, and that freaking hurts. Here’s my machine, it doesn’t tip over as easy. sorry it doesn’t fit in very well. Don’t kick me out.

I couple of quick pics that show my bikes, although not individually. I need to get that done sometime. I have similar tastes too Bike racer above.

Some are hard to see, but include: 1975 BMW R90s, 2014 Triumph Thruxton, 2007 Ducati Monster S4rs, 2006 Ducati Paul Smart, 1993 Ducati Superlight, 2006 MV Agusta F41000s, and a 2010 BMW S1000rr.

Love that Paul Smart! A friend of mine had one. And if I didn't have too many bikes already... I'd have had one of those in a heartbeat!

I do still have my 1992 750SS half-fairing, though. Such an amazing little machine. You don't ride it, you wear it!

Cheers,

Sirhr

So true on the 750ss, like my 900sl you sit down in them instead of on top. I just had mine out yesterday for over an hour and wore a smile the whole time.

Well I dug back into the file for an old photo. This part of my life is like how the movie Star Wars starts out, “Long ago in a galaxy far far away”, anyway, about 1989ish, here is my wife before unloading the bikes at a local race. There is a CR 500 that was built to shit right beside the 250. This one is old news for PPB.
