NY giant slalom skier O'Brien has a horrific crash. Some still shots remind us the positions that legs aren't supposed to be in. Boots hid most of the gore, but obviously she had compound tib/fib fracture. Wishing her a speedy recovery and hope she gets good medical care.

I love downhill skiing and it takes a special kind of crazy to maneuver at 60mph on ice/snow (up to 80+ mph in downhill event).
