Rifle Scopes Shadow/Tunnel vision

Re: Shadow/Tunnel vision

As said, they are low-end scopes, but having said that, the Monarchs I've got, which are 3-12, do not have tunneling. Nikon is supposed to have good warranty service. Call them... On second thought, I suppose you have adjusted your eye relief to try to get rid of the tunneling?

+1 Tunneling on all powers would probably be the eye relief isn't set right. Move the scope back or forward and see if it disappears. If not then call Nikon.

Re: Shadow/Tunnel vision

Thanks guys, I have it on a CVA Pro and I am out of room to come back any further. I had it on a Savage .17 at 1 time and had the same trouble no matter how close I got to it. Other than that the scope is very good. I guess it time to call them. Thanks again Brian

Re: Shadow/Tunnel vision

Look through the scope and move your head back and forward and see if it goes away. If it does it is a mounting problem and not worth calling nikon.
