I just bought a Rem 700 and I was thinking about using a Shepard Scope..I would like some input from you'll if this is a good scope to use..

Owned one and won't own another. I agree w/ the above posters. I had one on a .270 of mine that was used for deer hunting. The principle sounds good of a bdc reticle but they are bullet specific and not very flexible. I would recommend something w/ a mildot reticle that you can do your own ranging and adjustment with.

i once thought i had SMACKED the biggest alberta white tail doe ever with a shepard scope at a no-brainer 385yd broad side shot
