has anyone used a sheperd scope on a 22lr thinking on buying one let me no what you think

IMHO they're overrated. From my experiences the range estimation isn't that accurate. With a starting price of $699, you can get a great scope with mil-dot reticle and be twice as happy. Unless your trying to set some new record with it, I belive it would be a bit of overkill on a .22 anyway.
