Shilen AR barrels

Shilen AR barrels. Good, Bad? Going on a hunting rig. Couldn't get a Criteon in 8 twts. Craddock Precision wants to know if i'll take a Shilen for a substitute. Placed my order for the Criteon back in may.

I would take a shilen over a criterion any day. Go for it.

The most accurate AR I ever owned had a Shilen barrel and I've had A LOT of ARs!

Agreed, my .204 Ruger Shilen barreled AR has been fantastic.

I definitely wouldn’t say they are bad. I’ve had good luck with my 20" barrel. It’s easy a sub moa. I’m usually between 0.75 an 0.5 moa with it.

My rainier UM on a Shilen blank has been a fantastic barrel.
