Shipping Ammo?

Can anyone share some insight on shipping ammo, USPS says no go.
Does UPS ship it? Do you need to declare it as ammo, are there additional fees?

Only fees apply (hazmat) to primers and powder not loaded ammo. Have had cases dropped by UPS at the door. Only restriction is it has to go ground.

Actually, I think it's possible to mail ammunition. But most certainly UPS accepts it if it's properly marked as ORM-D.

FedEx ships ammo as well.
