Shipping items to New Zealand?

A Hide member from New Zealand is asking about buying one or two scopes I have listed in Optics section.
Is anyone familiar with shipping regs and cost involved in getting items shipped to this country?
I there any restrictions on types of scopes being sent to this country?

I would say" buyer is responsible for rules and regulations". Accept payment and put his address on it and move on. If a problem, that's in between him and customs. Just do your part and put the correct declared value. Buyer will have to pay the tax going into the country.

shipping into NewZealand is no problem for the scopes and there are not any regulations that I know of here .Your regs on shipping stuff maybe different though if it is classed as a millatary scope -possibly .If you ship it privatly I have never heard of any problems at all -what scopes are they ?
