Pretty new to this board and to long guns, but I've finally decided to scratch my itch for a precision bolt gun, so here I am! I'm wondering if there are any really good must read shooting books out there about precision shooting? I'm gonna be buying a nice bolt gun in the next month and would love to get schooled up before heading to the range so I can get the most out of my range visits.
I used to nail the 500 meter mark on irons when I was in the USMC, and was a helicopter weapons & tactics instructor (mostly .50 cal) so I'm not a total newb. But it's been at least 6 years since I've stepped foot on a rifle range over 100 yards as I've mostly been a 1911 & AR guy for the last few years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
