Shooting in the Minneapolis Area

Hi all!

I'm heading out to Minneapolis for a few, and I'm wondering if there are either some nice places to shoot Skeet or some distance ranges within 50 miles.

Also wouldn't hurt to know if there are any decent places to eat, etc.

Anyone willing to pass a few ideas?

If Skeet is an option, I'd rather not bring one of my shotguns. So... does anyplace out there have loaners?

You might want to re-word the subject. It sounds like you're posting in regards to a "Shooting in Minneapolis Area", not "Where to shoot in the Minneapolis Area?" Lol... Just saying...

There's a White Castle 5 star restaurant on the corner of 36th and Lake in Mpls. There are shootings in that area now too.

Awadas in Woodbury about 20 minutes east of the TC is a damn good place to eat...

shooting www.ahlmans.com has skeet check their website for days,i believe its thurs and sunday.They have a great gun store as well,they are located ouside Faribault about 40 minutes south of Mpls.

a great restraunt in Mpls is called THE SANCTUARY it's on 3rd ave,almost downtown,not far from the metrodome.The food is excellant,i'm sure they have a website.Then for breakfast go to HELL'S KITCHEN,eat the porridge,it's also located downtown.

there is a good pistol range at BILLS GUNS in Robbinsdale,most long range sites are private/members only
