Gunsmithing shooting with only pillar bedding.

Any advisement regarding shooting with a high end stock that is only pillar bedded? (Manners,MCM.) Would probably get it bedded eventually, just hedging on the downtime.

Just shoot it. This way you have an idea of how much improvement you have on getting the stock bedded.

If your gonna take the time to put in pillars doing the whole job. A Manners or Mcmillan inletted for the action can be done with a quick skim coat to give you all the stability you can probably use.
