    Out there somewhere
In South Texas also and I am very interested in loads that are working in shorty rifles. I am working on my second 6mm Creed build and am not having luck with H4350 and berger 105s. This one is ARC Nucleus, Proof carbon 16.5", on a Bravo stock with Vortex 5-25 and Harvester Suppressor. My first with a 16'5" Criterion I had great success shooting 1/2 MOA out to 600 yds with nodes at 41.1 and 42.5 of H4350. I am also curious about running faster powders. I saw a post regarding RL26 in a shorty, is this powder faster? I have a gazillion questions.......

H4350 should do it. Have you played with seating depths? This barrel might have a little different throat/chamber than your previous one. I’d start there first. After that try R16. If you want to try faster, maybe Varget?

R26 is slower but I have heard of guys still getting good performance in short 6.5 Creeds, should work based one what I saw when I ran it in my 6XC just as a test.

My thoughts were a faster powder would be more efficiently burned in a shorter barrel, my thinking could be all wrong. I'm not having bad luck with H4350 on a criterion barrel, but not having great luck with a Proof carbon barrel, just always chasing something a little better.

    How “bad” is it shooting?

Have you played with seating depth?
140 rounds down the tube and 1 moa absolute best, haven’t messed with seating depth. Seating at .020 currently, which is where I always start. I did an updated OCW test Sunday with Lapua brass and might have a node, am going to load up a few to try next chance I get.
