Short barrel rifle cartridge

Hey guys, I am sure this topic has been beaten to death but I was wondering if I could hear some of yalls opinions.

Looking for something at about 20-22" (is that even considered a short barrel rifle), 6mm or 6.5mm and commercially available. It is on a push feed Win Mod 70 short action.

It will be a lighter contour, probably a number 4.

I was thinking between 243, 6.5 creedmoor or 260

What do yall think?

I have a 243 in a 20" barrel, It is a hammer, not a light contour but very balanced with a mtu contour. I push the 115 gr dtacs at 2970 fps. Its a pretty useable stick for hunting and swinging steel. One of my favorite guns i own.

If hunting deer sized game is on the menu I would go creedmoor or 260. My first deer rifle was a 243 but you can stretch a 6.5 a little farther on game. Me personally, out of the three would go creedmoor. I roll my own though and am currently building a 47L...

6.5 Creedmoor with 140gr Berger hunting bullets would be a great choice.
