Rifle Scopes Shortest 20 MOA one pice scope mount

I now have a EGW 20 MOA hd scope base on my Savage rifle and even with the shortest rings I could find the scope is still a bit higher on the rifle than I would like.
I am having to use about 1.5 ins of foam under my stock pack to get proper cheek weld.
I am going to be replacing the base and I was looking for the shortest base on the market.
BTW the EGW HD base I have is a bit shorter than their stock base but I was wondering if anybody else makes a shorter base.

I believe the 20 MOA base manufactured by Millett for a Savage SA is a few thousandths of an inch thinner than the standard 20 MOA EGW base for the Savage SA. I recently measure the two for a project I was working on. However, your best option will probably be shorter rings. What are you currently running?

Seekins low .82 inches about a low as you can get.

A steel base will generally be lower than an aluminum one.

Badger & Near make high quality steel bases for the Savage.

Cameron at Murphy Precision should be able to make any height (and slope) you want. Measure the amount of space between your barrel and bell and send him an email.
