Today was the first time I have shot my .308 VLS since I bedded it about 2 months ago. I loaded up some 168 gr. A-maxs to the land(which of course will not fit into the magbox) Anyway I put 4 shots at 100yds in .209" c2c. This gun will 75% of the time shoot 3 shot groups into less than .400". Anyways my question is the gun capable of shooting in the .200's everytime or was it jsut a fluke. What I'm saying is it me that shots in the .400's or is it the gun.

The more important question is, are you capable of consistantly shooting in the .2s ?

May have been a fluke, but the only way to find out is to get some more data, I'm sure the bedding helped improve the rifles accuracy.

Yeah I shot 2 more 5 shot groups measuring .448 and .437. Which I figure is about in tune with what it's been doing with 3 shot groups( mid to high 3's).
