Kestrel Hosts Daily Demos for Ballistics & Heat Stress Line at SHOT Show Booth 1946 and Will Reveal a “Sneak Peak” of their Newest Product Line
BOOTHWYN, PA – It will be a busy week at the Kestrel booth during the 2014 SHOT Show, January 14–17 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Nielsen-Kellerman (NK), designer and manufacturer of Kestrel® Weather & Environmental Meters, along with partners Horus Vision and Applied Ballistics will be hosting daily product demonstrations. Attendees can learn more about Kestrel’s Ballistics line of Weather & Environmental Meters and also meet industry experts, such as Todd Hodnett, Bryan Litz, Nick Vitalbo and Larry Chao.
Demonstrations will be held daily at Kestrel booth #1946. Horus Vision demonstrations with Larry Chao will be held each day at 11:00 AM, while Applied Ballistics team demos will be held daily at 2:00 PM. Immediately following each featured product demo, Kestrel will host a product raffle for present attendees who have a chance to win the featured Kestrel meter (Kestrel 4500 with Horus or a Kestrel 4500 with Applied Ballistics). For other daily SHOT contests, follow kestrelWeather on Twitter.
In 2012, Kestrel released the Kestrel 4600 Heat Stress Tracker, which will be the focus of the mid-week product demos. Military personnel, police officers, SWAT teams and HazMat professionals are just a few of those who are affected by occupational heat stress. Wednesday & Thursday at 12:30 PM, Kestrel will host guest speakers, Michael Helfrich, Blueforce Development Corporation, and Master Sergeant, Adam Ringle, Wilmington Police Department respectively. Following each presentation, attendees will have a chance to win the Kestrel 4600 Heat Stress Tracker.
Attendees will also get a sneak peak of Kestrel’s newest product to be released this year, the Kestrel DROP® Smart Environmental Data Logger. Kestrel DROPs allow you to record and monitor the conditions of any environment, while easily accessing and charting real-time data on a smart device. Users are then able to view, chart and share real-time and logged data through the free Kestrel Connect app, coming soon to the iTunes App store.
Kestrel Weather & Environmental Meters are manufactured by NK, which has been researching, developing and manufacturing technically advanced environmental instruments for more than 15 years and owns multiple patents on their unique features. Kestrel Weather & Environmental Meters are employed by thousands of users in hundreds of demanding activities around the world.
