Should I be concerned?

I pulled a bonehead move today while processing my Winchester .308 brass. I realized I had put about 20 cases that should have gone into the "3 times fired" bin into my "2 times fired" bin. Should I be concerned? Would one firing make any noticeable difference with anything like bullet pull resistance for example?

Thanks in advance.

I have had *really* good luck with the Lee collet die. Often less than .001 runout. But I also .002 bump shoulder/body resize with the Redding body die every firing.

Re: Should I be concerned?

I used one until the cases need a bump. Then I decided to FL only a while back.
Haven't seen a need to neck size with a minor bump (.001-.002) since.

I just use basic FL dies, nuttin' fancy, and my rifles shoot better than I on a regular basis. If i think I seated something squirrely, I roll it on a mirror-if can't see runout, I shoot it.

Reloading is a pain in the ass, and I trim out every step that I am unable to shoot the difference of.

I'd be with you on this, except my RCBS FL die was WAY over enlarging the neck and then sizing it back down. I figured the Lee was a lot less working of the neck.

I could have the expander ball turned down and that would *probably* work as well, although my Redding body die seems to be *really* close to my chamber size. It's working for now.

I doubt you'll be able to see a difference on the target. If it bothers you a lot, it'll be a lesson to be more careful afterward.

For my own purposes, I keep my brass lots segregated, but it's not a hard and fast rule for me.

I tend not to be so intense about such things.
