Should I float a Tikka lite?

I finally broke down and bought Tikka t3x lite. Love this gun and it is becoming my favorite hunting gun. I have the action/barrel off to get threaded. While I have it apart I'm wondering if i should free float the barrel?

So far it has shot cheap factory ammo extremely well (1/2 moa). I was thinking a while back I read where someone floated a tikka stock and it shot worse, any truth to this? Anyone have experience with the lite models?
